Submitted by MarkW on Sunday, July 17, 2005 - 17:27

Please Post Pictures! I didn't get nearly as many pictures of us as I intended. Please post people pictures!

I didn't have a working camera when we visited the Mothers' Home. Please post pictures!

Andrew was cut off in the picture of all the "kids" at the Farewell Dinner. I bet you have a better one. Please post it!

Got pictures of your host family? You know what to do.

Thanks!

How do I post pictures?
Posted by LeslieK on Mon, 2005-07-18 19:52

Mark, I have my digital photos uploaded on my computer. But how do I get them to this website? The digital photo process is new to me.
Thanks, Leslie K

Fixing typos, moving pictures
Posted by MarkW on Mon, 2005-07-18 21:24

I hardly ever type it right the first time. I often forget to specify which part of the album to put the picture in. Fixing it is easy!

  • View your picture from the Home Page.

    • Click on "Home to Korea".
    • Click on 640x480 under your picture.
  • Above your picture, click on edit. You have to position your pointer so the grey background behind the word turns white.
  • You can change the title and description and choose a new gallery location.
  • Press the Submit button.

If you don't think any of the gallery sections are appropriate for your picture, or if you think of a better way to organize them, please let me know. I can set up new sections easily.

Posting pictures

Thanks for asking. I have my head inside this computer stuff so much, I forget how intimidating it can be.

  • On the right side of the screen, right under your user name, is the "navigation block." Click on create content.
  • The "create content" menu "opens up". Click on image.
  • Type a short picture title.
  • Select the section of the album the the picture should go into. Choose the day of the tour if that makes sense. Choose General Pictures for other stuff not directly related to your experience of the tour. If you forget, you can move it later.
  • Click the Browse... button and select your picture.
  • If appropriate, add a description. What was going on? What was going through your head or your heart?
  • Don't attach a file.
  • Press the Submit button.
